BlueJ Animation is a Brooklyn based independent animation, visual effects, and motion graphics studio founded by Jason Conradt. With over 25 years of industry experience, he helped develop the animation techniques for the acclaimed documentary The Kid Stays in the Picture and continues to create engaging animations for documentaries that enhance the storytelling and impart a unique look to each film.

His clients have come to know him for his collaborative problem solving, and his total dedication to making each animation effectively communicate the filmmaker’s intentions with stylistic and emotional depth.  

He has worked on such films as: Bully, Coward, Victim: The Story of Roy Cohn,  The Innocence Files, Words from a Bear, Tigerland, Cracked Up, Best Shot, Voyeur, Take My Nose Please, Beyond Borders, Trapped, Above and Beyond, 93 Queen, Nothing Left Unsaid: Gloria Vanderbilt, Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies, and The Kid Stays In The Picture.
